Tia Janicki, PA is a Physician Assistant with over 20 years of experience treating patients of all ages in dermatology.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Tia earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Carlow University. Tia pursued her calling by obtaining her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree with honors from Chatham University in 2004.
Tia's dedication to dermatology has been evident since the beginning of her career. Certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), she has over 20 years experience practicing as a dermatology physician assistant providing exceptional service to her patients.
Throughout her career, Tia has garnered numerous accolades and achievements. As an Albert Schweitzer Scholar during her academic years, she exemplified excellence in both academics and community service. In 2021, Tia made history by becoming the first Physician Assistant to win the Best of the Best Community Choice Awards in the Dermatology category in Pittsburgh, PA, a testament to her exceptional skills and dedication to her profession. Tia has further distinguished herself by earning the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Dermatology (CAQ-Derm) from the NCCPA in 2023, solidifying her proficiency in the field.
In addition to her remarkable professional accomplishments, Tia holds family and personal relationships in high regard. Together with her husband Bobby, they treasure moments spent with loved ones and friends. An avid lover of animals and the outdoors, Tia finds joy in the company of her four fur babies—two Sheepadoodles named Pickles and Wilson, and two Bassett Hounds named Finley and Ruby. When not at the office, Tia is likely to be found roller skating or biking, enjoying the beauty of nature and embracing an active lifestyle.
