Kelly Reed, DO, FAAD, FACMS

Dr. Kelly Reed is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Fellowship Trained Mohs Surgeon.

‍After enjoying the time she spent in Florida during part of her medical training, Dr. Kelly Reed returned to Florida with her family in 2021 to serve the greater Gulf Coast community. Originally from Southeast Missouri, she graduated magna cum laude from Southeast Missouri State University. Dr. Reed earned her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences where she was inducted into Sigma Sigma Phi, an Honorary Service Fraternity.

Dr. Reed completed a dermatology residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she received extensive training in all aspects of medical dermatology and dermatological surgery. She served as chief dermatology resident in her final year of training. Following her residency, Dr. Reed went on to complete a Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship at Michigan State University, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Dr. Reed has published in medical journals and has presented at numerous dermatology meetings at both a state and national level.

Dr. Reed specializes in both surgical and medical dermatology. As a Fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon, she is an expert in treating skin cancers of all types, using tissue sparing techniques which offer the highest cure rate and best cosmetic outcome.

Dr. Reed is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.

Additionally, Dr. Reed regularly combines her love of travel with volunteerism as a member of DOCARE International. She has participated in numerous medical mission trips to Guatemala and Kenya where she treated patients in underserved areas while overseeing and teaching medical students. Dr. Reed also volunteers at local health fairs and community skin cancer screening events.

Dr. Reed enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, salsa dancing, visiting national parks, and exploring with her family. She currently resides in Gulf Breeze with her husband Josh, son and rescue dog Ziggy.
