Jami Steinmetz, APRN, C-PNP is an accomplished nurse practitioner who brings over 20 years of combined experience in pediatrics and dermatology.
With a commitment to patient care and a drive to expand her expertise, Jami brings a unique perspective and a wealth of clinical knowledge.
Jami completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Mercer University with distinction and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) specializing in pediatrics from Georgia State University. Most recently, she has undertaken additional training at Florida State University and continuing education to seamlessly transition her skills and knowledge into the field of dermatology.
During her tenure in pediatrics, Jami gained extensive experience providing comprehensive care to children of all ages while managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, in both the hospital and office setting. She participated in research studies, presented at medical conferences, and published in medical journals. Her dedication to evidence-based medicine and staying up to date with the latest advancements has earned her recognition among her peers. In her transition to dermatology, Jami has undergone specialized training in diagnosing and treating various skin conditions, including acne, warts, eczema, rashes, infections, and skin allergies.
Driven by her desire for patient-centered care, Jami places great emphasis on building strong relationships with her patients. She believes in fostering open communication, active listening, and providing comprehensive education to empower patients to make informed decisions about their skin health.
Outside of the clinic, Jami enjoys spending quality time with her family and staying physically active while serving up aces on the tennis court. She has a keen interest in traveling and exploring different cultures, which broadens her perspective and enriches her patient interactions. Driven by her curiosity and love for learning, she actively engages in professional development opportunities, attending conferences and workshops.
With her extensive experience in pediatrics and her newfound dedication to dermatology, Jami brings a compassionate and comprehensive approach to patient care.
